Durability. Structural integrity. Maximum efficiency. Reliable operation. Safety through rigorous testing. These are a few of the things you’re looking for in (and that you expect from) debutanizer column design and fabrication. The fabricator you choose matters, and too often, you learn that there may have been a better choice after it’s too late. With Boardman, you’ll know before you sign anything if we’re the right fabricator for you because we’ll take the time to assess your debutanizer or reboiler project, learn about your specific requirements, and provide a quote that includes all of the above plus the level of stewardship that fits your needs.
You’ve been tasked with finding a fabricator who’s skilled in debutanizer column fabrication. If the project is successful (finished on time and within budget, with a quality product as a result), you’ll get to take all the credit. And if it doesn’t go so well, you’ll have to answer for that, too.
So who will you choose? The cheapest? The one who’s never manufactured a debutanizer? Or the one who doesn’t have a great reputation, but can start right away? It’s up to you, of course, but our customers know that when they work with Boardman, they gain a partner who’s invested in their success.
We want nothing more than to see projects run smoothly, from design to delivery. That’s why we’re committed to stewardship that works, from start to finish.
Do you have debutanizer drawings? Or do you need complete engineering and design services? No matter the level of service you require, we will deliver. Get in touch with us today to get started.
A debutanizer is a type of process equipment used to remove heavy organic compounds, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, organochlorines, and hydrodesulfurization from hydrocarbons. It generally involves a distillation process, where the hydrocarbons are heated and treated with various chemicals, such as sulfuric acid, to separate the components. The result is a de-aromatized hydrocarbon that is free of heavy organic compounds.
Here are some examples of how debutanizers are used in several different industries:
Working in an industry separate from these? And do you need reboiler or debutanizer column design or fabrication for a different application? We’re ready to hear all about it and show you past projects that are much like yours. Let’s get started today!
Everyone’s specific list of criteria for choosing a fabricator is unique, but in general, you want someone you can trust to deliver a quality product, when they said they would, within budget. You’ll find all of that at Boardman, plus more.
A debutanizer is a remarkably specialized piece of equipment that you’ll find in use in these industries:
Nearly any fabricator has the capability to handle small- and medium-sized projects. But what about massive pressure vessels and trayed towers & columns? We can manufacture items that have dimensions measuring up to and including the following:
Different industries and applications call for different metals for the fabrication of debutanizers and reboilers. That’s why we offer a wide range of materials, including:
Debutanizers are one example of equipment that must meet regulations put forth my government agencies. Failing to do so can result in significant fines and the shutdown of your operations. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is just one example of an agency with regulations that may apply to your debutanizer application. And some examples of regulations include:

One visit to Boardman’s 140,000 ft² facility will reveal a variety of fabrication projects in various stages of completion. Debutanizers are just one item that’s part of our trayed tower and column line. The others include:
Since 1910, we’ve been conducting custom fabrication. That means we’ve grown alongside those industries, know their history, and how they’ve evolved. Along the way, we’ve learned how important stewardship is to our customers, and that’s why it comes standard with every order.
You are invited to see everything we have to offer, including our custom fabrication capabilities, heavy plate fabrication, and ASME pressure vessels. Let’s discuss your next project and how we can help.
